Rentals

Please keep the Ballroom in mind if you know any business or person who needs space for an event. We have rental dates available
at this time.

HBDC’s mission is to keep ballroom dancing alive and active in the Baltimore-Washington, DC area by providing a cheerful, high
quality and affordable facility for ballroom dancing. While we are not a rental facility, the rentals help us to achieve our mission.
One day soon we hope not to need rentals. In the meantime, rentals and all referrals are very much appreciated.

At Hollywood Ballroom Dance Center

Mondays 7:30 –  8:30 p.m.

Wednesdays 6:45 – 7:45 p.m.

$8 / hour for 2 classes/week package $64/E4wks*

$8.50 / hour for 1 class/week package $34/E4wks*

Walk-ins $10/class

This class is designed for all –  beginners to Seniors!

Zumba (Basic and Gold) is great for those who love to dance!
Non-dancers are encouraged to join, it’s so easy everyone benefits.
Zumba helps your Cuban motions!
Latin music is used the majority of the time,
but you can expect the unexpected – it’s like a trip around the world in dance/aerobics!
Come join the fun!

Come in work-out cloths, sneakers, etc.

Shoes should not stick to the floor.

Full time students showing valid identification are admitted to social ballroom dances (Friday through Wednesday)  for $10.

Admission for Thursday night dances, including the lessons, is $12.

Open Practice during February is only $6 per session.

Admission to Tuesday afternoon Tea Dances is only $6.

We are expanding! We are looking for pleasant and enthusiastic individuals to fill positions in our Admission and Concession staff. Our Admission staff is also responsible for selling dance-related merchandise.

Part-time positions are available, one or two shifts each evening, approximately 6:15 pm to 12:30 am on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and possibly other nights. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be available to work our Holiday Events. Applicants must be reachable by telephone and email.

We are also looking for certified Bartenders to serve during our rent-outs, primarily on Saturday nights. These schedules are intermittent. Hours vary but are normally from about 8 pm to 1 am.
