Ballroom Dancing 101 Sundays 8:00 – 8:45 pm
Learn the basic steps of the basic dances. Start the series anytime or just come for the classes that interest you. Every second week, a new dance is taught. The first week you will learn the basic steps and a few variations. The second week you will review, perhaps learn a few new steps, and practice.
Basic dances taught in this class will include waltz, fox trot, rumba, cha cha, hustle and East Coast swing, west Coast swing, tango and salsa. Classes may also vary from time to time to incorporate the latest trends or class interest. As always, current classes may be found on the calendar.
Price includes both the lesson and the Sunday evening dance, so you get a chance to practice what you’ve just learned. Check the web calendar for the schedule. Partner not required. 45 minute lesson. ($16)

A special note of remembrance for Instructor Glenn White
Glenn White was a long time and a favorite instructor at Hollywood Ballroom Dance Center. He was known for his clear, concise directions and his willingness to help students “get it right.” Always kind, always understanding and patient. A wonderful dancer and teacher. A gentleman. A friend. He will be missed.

GENERAL INFORMATION
You do not need to have dance experience to join in the fun of a social dance.
There are new dancers and very experienced dancers all sharing the floor.
Attire is comfortably dressy. (Ties are not required. T-shirts are discouraged.)
No partner is required.
Singles, couples and groups are always welcome.
