About the Helmut Licht Trio
Saturday, August 31, the Helmut Licht trio will perform at the Hollywood Ballroom. Whether you
dance to Helmut’s Ballroom Big Band or his trio, he will give you all the ballroom dances in perfect
dance tempos. Helmut is probably the only musician who was awarded the Arthur Murray
Professional Gold medal. He loves to dance as much as he enjoys playing music for dancers. The other
members of his trio are Andre Breckenridge, who has been playing Latin percussion and singing Latin
music with Helmut since 1966, plus Darlene Brady, Baltimore’s first lady of song. It will be a
magical evening of socializing, dancing and romancing.
